Our partner, Massimo Baghetti and our senior associate, Arda Paragamyan will attendin the upcoming AIPPI World Congress in Yokohama, Japan, from 13 to 16 September 2025.
In particular, Massimo will talk on Thursday, 15 September from 14:30 to 16:00 JST at the panel entitled “Super Duper, you are not gonna find me! Non authorized use of Trade Marks and other IP rights by Influencers”, exploring the increasingly complex challenges that trademark owners face when influencers promote products — whether authentic or counterfeit — without authorisation. While many companies successfully integrate influencers into their marketing strategies, unauthorised promotions can pose a serious risk to brand reputation, intellectual property protection and the effectiveness of marketing activities.
The European perspective on the main remedies available in this context will be presented to the attendees by Massimo.
