Our associate [Stefano Vergano](https://www.jacobacci-law.com/lawyers/stefano-vergano?hsLang=en) will be a speaker at the Professional Development Course in Wine Law, which is organised by the Department of Law of the [University of Turin](https://en.unito.it/) and [CONViVi (Centro Interdipartimentale Viticoltura e Vino)](https://www.unito.it/ateneo/organizzazione-strutture-e-sedi/strutture/centri), in cooperation with [UGIVI (Unione dei Giuristi della Vite e del Vino)](https://www.ugivi.org/).

Stefano will hold a lecture dedicated to the protection of industrial property rights in the wine-growing and wine-producing sector, delving into the legal profiles of a strategic sector for the Italian economy and tradition.

The 40-hour course, which is held from 5 April to 3 July 2025, is taught in both face-to-face and online modes, with lessons taking place every Thursday afternoon from 4pm to 7.30pm and taught by university lecturers and industry professionals.
