Our partner Claudia Scapicchio will attend the tenth edition of the course “Licensing: a business tool for enterprises,” organized by LES Italia, which will be held in Rome on December 4 and 5. She will be giving a lecture on the topic of "The patent licensing agreement".
The course, under the patronage of Confindustria Servizi Innovativi e Tecnologici, aims to provide the necessary tools to make strategic decisions, negotiate contracts, and effectively manage licensing relationships. Over the two days, key topics related to licensing agreements will be explored in-depth, with particular attention to the analysis of sample contracts and clauses covering the most delicate and complex aspects of licensing relationships.
The program also includes specific focuses on trademark, design, patent, and/or know-how licensing, as well as fiscal, international, and legal issues, with a special emphasis on the protection of rights in case of disputes. Particular emphasis will be placed on presenting practical cases and testimonials from companies that have successfully managed intellectual property rights.
This high-level training event is open to professionals working in the legal and intellectual property fields, as well as businesses and universities interested in licensing activities and managing intellectual property rights. It is currently being accredited by the Order of Industrial Property Consultants and by the Rome Bar Association.
