Our partner Emanuela Truffo will participate in a study day organized by CAMERA - Centro Italiano per la Fotografia at the ICCD – Central Institute for Cataloguing and Documentation in Rome on Monday, May 18, to examine and explore the relationship between rights, photography and archives, from the past to the new challenges of the present.
The event aims to investigate and explore the relationship between rights, photography, and archives, spanning from the past to the new challenges of the present.

The event, created in collaboration with Jacobacci Avvocati, will feature three panels led by professionals and researchers.

Emanuela will moderate the first panel, titled “The Archive, the Collection, and the Law: Links Between Digital and Physical Structures,” which is dedicated to intellectual and asset property issues concerning images in today's digital landscape. Starting with concrete examples of copyright, the panel will analyze case studies that also highlight potential forms of cultural and commercial enhancement, both online and offline.

The session will also feature Barbara Costa, Head of the Intesa Sanpaolo Historical Archive, and Sara Vian, Head of the Eni Historical Archive.
