Diane de Valbray
Diane de Valbray, Counsel, is an associate working at the Paris office. She advises clients on intellectual property rights (trademarks, designs and copyrights) as well as on related unfair competition disputes or disputes concerning the use of family names as a distinctive sign. The practice of intellectual property rights litigation has led her to develop a particular expertise in the defence of Protected Geographical Indications (PGI), in particular Protected Designations of Origin (PDOs). Diane graduated with an LL.M in Trademark Law from the Humboldt University of Berlin in 2007 and with a Master II in Industrial Property from the University Panthéon-Assas Paris 2 in 2009. As part of her continuing education, she graduated in 2022 from the University of Burgundy with a university degree in Vine and Wine Law. She has been a member of the Paris Bar since January 2012.
