Our counsel, Angela Saltarelli, continues her academic engagement by delivering, on 10 September, the opening lecture of the "Fundamentals of Art Law" course organised by ASIPI Academia for the second semester of 2026 and addressed to its entire international community.
Her module, entitled "Fundamentals and Subjects of Art Law", will provide an provide an introduction to the key legal issues that characterise the field of art law, highlighting the roles and rights of the different players in the art world and introducing key copyright topics, including moral rights.
ASIPI ACADEMIA is the Inter-American Intellectual Property Association's programme dedicated to professional training and continuing professional development in intellectual property and related disciplines. While art law has a long-standing tradition in Europe and the United States, Latin America's rapidly growing art market requires increasingly specialised legal expertise. This course is a result of ASIPI’s commitment to providing advanced training in the region and equipping legal professionals with the necessary tools to support artists, museums, galleries, auction houses, and new market participants in the digital sphere.
