Written by Studio Legale Jacobacci & Associati | January 26, 2026

Our partner Emanuela Truffo will participate as moderator in the talk organized by CAMERA - Centro Italiano per la Fotografia, titled “The archive, the collection, and the law: links between digital and physical structures”.

The meeting will take place as part of the study day “Online Images, Offline Archives”, organized in collaboration with Jacobacci Avvocati, created to investigate and explore — across three panels with professionals and researchers — the relationship between rights, photography, and archives, from the past to the new challenges of the present.
The talk, which will be held on January 30 from 10:00 to 11:30, will be dedicated to issues related to the intellectual and economic property of images in today's digital context. Drawing on concrete examples of copyright law, the panel will analyse case studies that also demonstrate potential forms of cultural and commercial enhancement, both online and offline.

The event will feature Marco Amato, Director of the Lavazza Museum, and Mariangela Ravasenga, Head of the Industrial Property Sector at the Turin Chamber of Commerce.

Participation is open to the public, and to anyone wishing to dive into the core of contemporary image management and deepen their understanding of the relationship between photography, archives, and rights.
