Our partner Luca Ghedina will attend the annual conference organized by GRUR (German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property and Copyright), which will take place in Hamburg, Germany, from September 30 to October 3.
The conference agenda focuses on the impact of generative artificial intelligence and the EU AI Act on copyright and data licensing, alongside an operational and jurisprudence overview of the Unified Patent Court (UPC). Significant focus is given to the evolution of trademarks and distinctive signs in the digital environment, the fight against greenwashing, and new consumer protection and competition rules in online markets. Finally, the meeting analyzes the integration between national legislation and European directives on design and trade secrets, through direct dialogue among academics, judges, lawyers, and IP attorneys.
The event will offer networking opportunities and special sessions to encourage exchange among legal professionals, industry representatives, and academics.
