Webinar: “Counterfeiting and the Protection of Industrial Property: Tools for Enforcement” – 25 September 2025

Our partner Luca Ghedina will be speaking alongside Eng. Danilo De Lorenzo from Jacobacci & Partners, at a webinar titled "Counterfeiting and the Protection of Industrial Property: Tools for Enforcement", taking place on 25 September from 14:30 to 17:30.

The webinar will explore the phenomenon of counterfeiting in depth and offer an overview of prevention strategies, enforcement actions and available tools in cases of infringement.

The topics covered will include, in particular:

• the main types of infringement of industrial property rights (trademarks, patents and designs).
• tools for market monitoring
• the Unified Patent Court (UPC).
• national courts specialized in IP litigation
• key enforcement and defense measures and the strategies available in both preliminary and proceedings on the merits, such as description, seizure, injunction, withdrawal from the market, damages, negative declaratory actions and nullity actions.
• customs surveillance and criminal enforcement.

These themes will be addressed from a practical perspective with real-life examples and case studies.
