Our partner Paola Gelato will take part in the seminar "Le temps et le vin – Quand Chronos rencontre Dyonysos”, which is being organised by the AIDV - International Wine Law Association and will be held in Colmar, France.
The seminar will explore the impact of time on viticulture, from the historical legacy of vineyard plots to the management of vintages and blends. It also offers a legal perspective on industry practices and symbols, including agricultural lease contracts, labelling regulations and the emblematic case of the 'Flûte d’Alsace'.
Paola will speak on the panel with a speech entitled “L'esprit de l'œnothèque”. In particular, she will explore the role of wineries in the development of wine tourism, as well as the strengthened position of the Protection Consortia concerning the value of the designations of origin and geographical indications.
