Stefano Vergano, associate, will take part in the International Journal of Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Law (IJTTHL) Conference 2025, which will be held in Portugal from 2 to 4 November 2025.
One of the highlights of the conference will be the presentation of the volume "Gastronomy Law", which joins the series that began with "Wine Law" and "Wine Tourism Law". As with the previous volumes, this new publication includes contributions from our partner, Paola Gelato, and our associate, Stefano Vergano.
During the third session of the conference, scheduled for 4 November at the Palácio dos Marqueses da Praia e Monforte in Loures, near Lisbon, where legal topics related to tourism and gastronomy will be discussed, Stefano will speak in the panel dedicated to the presentation of the new volume, with a talk entitled "The Protection of Recipes and Taste under Italian Law."
The conference focuses on tourism, travel, and hospitality law and is organized by the Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril (ESHTE), INATEL – Associação Nacional para o Turismo e Tempo Livre, the Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão (ISEG), and the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), with the support of the Portuguese Bar Association (Ordem dos Advogados Portugueses).
